Create tones quickly with pencil and watercolour
In just three easy steps you can quickly produce colour sketches that are also tonally correct.
Draw your picture using an HB or a 2B pencil.
Shade in with a pencil wherever you see darker tones.
Paint over with thin watercolour washes that allow the pencil shading to show through. The shaded areas wil immediately look darker than the non-shaded areas, creating tonal variation with no fuss!
